I believe that every pet is an individual and has its own personality, just like their owners. I try to customize my services to accommodate each busy pet owner's schedule and their pet's particular needs. My goal is to keep your pets happy and content in their familiar surroundings and for you to have peace of mind while you are away from your pets and home. I am available for overnight stays in your home for your pets or I can do daily checkins for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks and just plain loving and attention. I have over five years of experience in pet/house sitting. I started pet sitting while living in Ajijic, Mexico, taking care of everything from an individual cat or dog to a whole menagerie of pets at one time. Prior to living in Mexico I lived in Seattle working in the corporate world. I am now the proud owner of KAREN'S PET & HOME CARE. At this time I own a spirited male cat named Charlie, adopted from MEOW. My past dear loved ones are Diamond, a stray rescue cat, a Standard Poodle, Schuyler, and a Schnoodle, Pookie. I grew up with Boston Terriers and several rescue dogs. I have worked as a volunteer for the Seattle Humane Society and the Tuxes and Tails yearly fund raising event. I was also very involved at the local animal shelter in Ajijic, Mexico, along with the spay and neuter program in Guadalajara.
