I believe that every pet is an individual and has its own personality, just like their owners. I try to customize my services to accommodate each busy pet owner's schedule and their pet's particular needs. My goal is to keep your pets happy and content in their familiar surroundings and for you to have peace of mind while you are away from your pets and home. I am available for overnight stays in your home for your pets or I can do daily checkins for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks and just plain loving and attention. I have over six years of experience in pet/house sitting. I started pet sitting while living in Ajijic, Mexico, taking care of everything from an individual cat or dog to a whole menagerie of pets at one time. Prior to living in Mexico I lived in Seattle working in the corporate world. I am now the proud owner of KAREN'S PET & HOME CARE. At this time I own a spirited male cat named Charlie, adopted from MEOW. My past dear loved ones are Diamond, a stray rescue cat, a Standard Poodle, Schuyler, and a Schnoodle, Pookie. When we go out of town it is a big stinking deal and finding someone to care for our herd is not an easy task. I have had a handful of "ok" animal sitters over the years and it was trail by error that I found one in West Seattle since we were new to town. However, now that I found Karen my quest for the best sitter is over. Karen is beyond amazing and went far far far over my expectations! To give you an idea of how far over, she actually logs journals of her visits and tells you cute stories about your pets and describes what she did while she was at your house. We went away during a snow storm and she still made it to our house to check on our animals then called us to explain what was going on. She is smart, kind, very trustworthy and will love your animals more than you do while you are gone. Karen is not crazy cheap but not crazy expensive either.
